Kovalam is an internationally re-knowned beach resort famous for it's colourful Keralan charm, traditional fishing community and beaches. It is divided into five bays, creating superb shores with Lighthouse Beach at the southern end, the most popular.
A stay in Kovalam is a relaxing mixture of sun, sea and delicious food. So be sure to pack a few good books. In contrast, colourful, noisy temple festivals & cultural events in January and February.

Sunitha was the perfect host. Nothing was too much trouble, and her standard of cleaning is excellent.
Apart from a couple of storms, the weather was more pleasant than in December when we were last in Kovalam. Sitting out on the balcony was so private, we both loved the tranquility.
