There are not many properties left now with the enviable seclusion that we have. Our house is truely isolated with the nearest neighbour being but a speck in the distance. To see a passing boat is a rarity. If you are seeking solitude and tranquility then The Conch House is it ! From its elevated position the house looks over our immaculate beach. Each morning your footsteps shall be the first to mark the sand. Down at the beach you can find conch shells, snorkel, walk for miles and all on your own. On the other side of the property is a mangrove lake which is home to numerous birds. The garden is well laid out with quiet areas for peaceful reflection, numerous coconut trees and a large deck off the living areas The Conch House is located approximately 10 minutes drive off the main road leading into Williams Town on Little Exuma. We are remote! . Williams Town has the famous Dees’ Restaurant and Maisys’ Conch Fritters. There is also a very small grocery store. George Town the capital is about 40 minutes drive and here you will find a bank, supermarket, carhire, boat hire, tourist shops and boutiques, telecommunication supplier, restaurants, hotels. There is so much to explore in Exuma from diving, boating to historical sightsThe Conch House recently refurbished now has 2 bedrooms one with a double bed and the other with bunk beds (therefore sleeping a maximum of 6; however longterm 4 people is the maximum acceptable). There is an open-plan kitchen with bar, oven, cook top and two fridges aswell as a bathroom with bath and shower and an outside shower to wash away all the salt and sand. A selection of linen, cutlery and crockery are supplied.
