Figtree Beach House

Accommodating up to 16 people, Figtree Beach House is a luxury self-catering establishment situated in a prime position for beach holidays or as a base during the 2010 World Cup. It is situated over the road from the beach, within walking distance of the local shopping area and only 52kms from Durban International Airport.

It is ideal for family groups who are looking for privacy, comfort and minimal driving while on holiday.

Lodgings consist of 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, three lounges, spacious open-plan kitchen / dining / sitting areas, an extensive deck and entertainment area.

The premises are equipped with everything one needs for a perfect beach holiday including the following:

Fully equipped Entertainers Kitchen with separate scullery/laundry. (2 fridge/freezers), DW, TD, WM, large 6 plate gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and numerous other kitchen appliances (mixers, blenders, pizza oven, wok, etc)

Open-plan dining room / lounge area leading of the kitchen, all of which open onto the main front deck and barbecue area. Perfect for entertaining

Games Room with pool table, dart board, flat-screen TV (Satellite DSTV), surround sound HiFi and a pub area.

Upstairs Master Suite. - Queen size bed, en-suite bathroom (corner bath, shower, basin, WC). Private lounge that can sleep 2 more if needed and a private balcony overlooking the sea.

Seaside Room. - Queen size bed plus 1 single bed. Opens onto private deck with hot/cold outdoor shower. Bathroom facilities (full bathroom with bath, shower, basin & WC) are shared with the “Garden Room”.

Garden Room. - 3 single beds. Ideal for children or singles. Bathroom facilities (full bathroom with bath, shower, basin & WC) are shared with the “Seaside Room”

Pool Room 1 - ¾ Bed sleeping two. Opens onto covered pool deck. Bathroom facilities (full bathroom with bath, shower, basin & WC) are shared with “Pool Room 2”.

Pool Room 2 – 3 single beds. Opens onto covered pool deck. Bathroom facilities (full bathroom with bath, shower, basin & WC) are shared with “Pool Room 1”.

A large Deck Area (part covered and part open) with a built in braai / barbecue, two outside seating areas with umbrellas and tables & chairs for 16.

Bedding and bath towels are provided (beach / pool towels can be provided at an extra cost or kindly bring your own)
